A dietician (m/f/x)
On a 6-month part-time fixed-term contract (min. 33% 12h40/week)
Are you passionate about nutrition and want to put your skills at the service of patients' well-being? We are looking for a dynamic and committed dietician to join our service and support our patients in improving their diet and their state of health.
What does the job consist of?
Autonomous and organized, you know how to accurately assess the nutritional needs of patients and detect the risks of undernutrition. Your initiative allows you to anticipate their needs and adapt their therapeutic diet according to medical prescriptions, in close collaboration with doctors. With excellent communication skills, you will raise awareness, inform and educate patients on the importance of a healthy diet adapted to their state of health. You are also comfortable with computer tools, which allows you to ensure rigorous follow-up by entering each action in the computerized patient file. Your rigor and precision are essential to ensure that internal processes run smoothly. You actively participate in multidisciplinary working groups and projects, thus contributing to the continuous improvement of the dietetic service. You also ensure the quality of the portioning chain and play a role in supervising the trainees, sharing your knowledge and expertise. You respect confidentiality rules and demonstrate a high level of professional ethics.
● Evaluate and support patients by analysing their eating habits and setting up personalised follow-up, particularly in diabetology.
● Ensure appropriate nutritional care in collaboration with doctors, by adjusting therapeutic nutrition and optimizing enteral and parenteral nutrition.
● Actively participate in the life of the department by taking part in multidisciplinary projects, supervising interns and ensuring the quality of processes related to hospital catering.

● You will be supervised by Virginie Hainaut, head of the team of dieticians.
● The department is spread over the sites and has 20 dieticians
Geographical flexibility between the 3 sites is expected on this intersite function

Your education
● You have a bachelor's degree in dietetics and you have an approval number granted by the FPS Public Health.
Your experiences and knowledge
● You have a first experience as a hospital dietician.
● You have a good knowledge of HACCP and traceability standards
● You have a good knowledge of Dutch: You are able to understand the patient's needs and communicate with your colleagues

What we offer you
● Type of contract: 6-month fixed-term contract
● Working time: 33% (min. 12:40 p.m., flexible days during the week)
● Opening hours: schedule from 07:30 to 15:30, to be agreed with your manager, including 1 weekend per month and some public holidays.

Remuneration on the basis of the IFIC scales (category 14) in 12h40/week, with resumption of seniority:
● Min: €1,126.62 (index: 2.1647)
● Max €1,779.73 (index 2.1647)
