
Building & Security Manager (Level 1 Instructor)
Job description
The Building & Safety Manager supervises the technical teams (maintenance, upkeep, works) as well as the cleaning team. He/she organizes and manages operations related to the maintenance of infrastructure, the cleanliness of the premises, and the safety of people. He/she also plays the role of Level 2 Prevention Advisor (20% of the time), guaranteeing the implementation of legal obligations and well-being measures at work.
He/she collaborates closely with the other Department Managers (Level 1), and the team leaders.
👉 Roles and responsibilities
Organisation, planning and monitoring of the department 📝
Supervision of team leaders (technical & cleaning) and coordination of operational teams.
Follow-up of internal and external technical interventions.
Planning of maintenance work (routine and multi-year).
Track budgets, orders, equipment, and inventory.
Regular reporting and monitoring of indicators (KPIs).
Prevention Advisor level 2 (20% of the role) 🤝
Carrying out risk analyses: workstations, fire, legionella, electrical installations, ergonomics, etc.
Development of safety procedures and action plans.
Organisation of safety and first aid training.
Participation in CPPW meetings and collaboration with the external prevention service (Mensura).
Follow-up of regulatory controls and audits.

Security reception for external people (visitors, service providers).
Tracking order and tidying up in work areas.
Regular checks (racks, ladders, lifts, etc.).
Implementation of specific procedures (lone work, ventilation, COVID management, etc.).
Monitoring of hygiene, ergonomics and health measures.
Contribution to the continuous improvement of working conditions and the beautification of spaces.

💼 Training
Certification or training as a Level 2 Prevention Advisor (mandatory or to be obtained).
Proven experience in the fields of technology, maintenance or construction.
Knowledge of the social sector or the supervision of people with disabilities is an asset.
