Job description

Our Abbé Froidure Social Reception Centre (CASAF) is approved by the COCOM of the Brussels Capital Region. The structure is part of the social services division of the Les Petits Riens group. These activities are an integral part of the Les Petits Riens group, which develops social economy activities (collection, sorting and sale of second-hand objects) and social actions.

The CASAF team is made up of 16 social workers whose mission is to provide people in difficulty with reception, listening and psychosocial support. In practice, the CASAF offers a wide range of services to meet the various demands : debt mediation, legal aid, a personal assistance centre, a day centre and a mobile mental health team.  The Integrated Social Centre of Les Petits Riens located on Avenue Van Volxem in Forest wishes to respond to the various problems encountered by our beneficiaries and societal issues: non-use of rights and care, saturation and digitalisation of front-line services and crisis in reception. 

We are recruiting a Coordinator for the personal assistance centre, debt mediation service and legal aid.

👉 Missions

Under the supervision of the Director of CASAF, your mission is to guarantee the proper functioning and development of these services, both in terms of the management of the team and its educational project. The axes of your responsibilities are:

  • The functioning of the services: Organize and supervise the work of the psychosocial team, the follow-up of the beneficiaries and group activities

  • The development of services : Contribute to the analysis of both the needs of the public and sectoral and societal developments in order to adapt practices within the services.

  • Psycho-social support and reception : Participate in social services and support for the public

👉 Tasks 

  • Organize and lead team meetings

  • Organise teamwork and guarantee the continuity of services, in particular establishing the schedule (schedules, leave), dealing with one-off requests (absences, crises, conflicts, interventions with beneficiaries), monitoring the objectives set, being a back-up in the event of a worker's absence

  • Supporting the teams in the reflection and clinical analysis of the people welcomed in order to develop quality support

  • Guarantee support in compliance with ethics and professional secrecy, and promote the participation of beneficiaries in the organisation of services 👌

  • Co-define with the management a vision and an educational project

  • Ensuring the coherence of the project and developing working methods based on the individual needs of the people welcomed

  • Promote the development of common intervention strategies through a global knowledge of monitoring files and a presence in the field at key moments

  • Integrate the work  done into a wider 🤝 network of partners

  • Ensure respectful internal and external communication between the departments towards and between all (communication notebook, announcements, etc.)

  • Represent the CAP in consultations, steering committees, networks, federations, and organize moments of immersion/exchange of the team with/with partners

  • Maintain monitoring (conferences, training, information sessions, readings, etc.) and a continuous analysis of the needs of beneficiaries in order to guarantee the adequacy of services and partnership projects with the actual needs of users

Profile

  • You are a social worker trained

  • You have experience in team and/or project management

  • You are solution-oriented with the ability to organize yourself and define priorities ✅

  • You adapt easily

  • You have very good interpersonal skills and skills to manage stress and conflicts

  • You demonstrate good communication, listening and empathy 🤗 skills

  • You are gifted with good analytical skills and you show initiative

  • You are motivated to take on challenges

  • You have a perfect command of French (written and oral), the practice of Dutch or another language is an asset

  • You master the tools of the Office 365 💻 Pack

  • A full-time permanent contract 38 hours/week with a salary according to the COCOM CP 330.02 📆 scales
