Job description
Context
In addition to its well-known social economy activities, Les Petits Riens also offers social services, 3 reception centres and for one of them, its social restaurant. This restaurant is frequented by the 85 residents of the Maison d'Accueil and its staff. Partially fueled by food donations collected daily, the restaurant prepares on average:
90 hot meals every lunchtime during the week and 90 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays,
80 breakfasts from Monday to Sunday,
80 cold meals for dinner from Monday to Sunday.
The social restaurant is managed by a Chef de Cuisine who supervises about thirty volunteers and apprenticeship contracts. To replace one of our cooks, we are looking for a Cook for a full-time replacement contract.
Mission
In collaboration with the Head Chef, the Cook's mission is to assist him in the organization, preparation and control of meals. He/she will also be required to manage the orders inherent to the work of the kitchen.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Help with daily meal preparation
Prepare and set up the different dishes of the day
Provide lunch and dinner services
During the Chef's absences, ensure that the preparation of the meal runs smoothly and ensure that the kitchen is closed
2. Ensure strict compliance with Horeca hygiene standards and product packaging, according to the FASFC rules
Respecting the hygiene rules in force in the hospitality industry
Respect the cleaning and disinfection protocol of the equipment used (tables, slicers, mixers, fridges, etc.)
Ensure and participate in the cleaning of the kitchen, freezer, cold rooms, filters, etc
Ensure that goods are properly arranged by category and reserve
Profile
Profile
You have impeccable hygiene and presentation
You know how to work in a team and alone
You are able to calmly handle conflict situations
You agree to work from Monday to Sunday alternating with day and evening hours 5 days a week (7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
You are voluntary, responsible and versatile
You have a minimum of experience in cooking and express yourself perfectly in French
You have a great sensitivity for the social field (precarious people, homeless, etc.)

Full-time replacement contract 37h/week
Engagement as soon as possible from the beginning of November
Monday to Sunday, according to an agreed schedule of a maximum of 5 days/week
Remuneration defined according to the COCOF scale of the joint committee 319
