Context
At Les Petits Riens, our social economy activities employ more than 300 employees and some 450 volunteers or interns. Thus, collecting, valuing and marketing second-hand goods supports a platform for socio-professional integration for people who are far from the job market or for others who want to invest in a meaningful project.
The association operates 28 stores in Belgium (Brussels, Wavre, Louvain La Neuve, Namur, Liège, Leuven), including 6 grouped together in our central store, rue Américaine, 101 in Ixelles.
The Textile store of the central store is recruiting, An Assistant Manager, Permanent Contract.
Mission
In collaboration with the manager of the Textile store and your colleagues, you will participate both in the monitoring of the commercial project and in the support of the team made up of about twenty people under professional integration contracts.
Tasks
You will collaborate in the management of the team's skills (recruitment, reception, training)
You coordinate the organization of the team's daily tasks
You involve the team in the commercial dynamics of the store
You are aiming to increase the shop's turnover
You ensure the restocking and regular tidying up of the store
You contribute to the management system for the rotation of goods, orders and deliveries
You ensure the valuation of clothing/accessories at the right price
You will be responsible for the cash register and the administrative follow-up of the cash registers
You guarantee quality customer service (satisfaction and loyalty)
You participate in the implementation of commercial actions
You ensure compliance with the safety and well-being measures of the team
You support people who are in the process of socio-professional integration
Profile
Degree level: at least, CESS
You have experience in commercial management and you enjoy teamwork
You have a good knowledge of the styles and trends of second-hand textiles
You are organized and able to adapt to the unexpected
You express yourself perfectly in French, both written and oral, and you have a good knowledge of the Office suite
You have no medical contraindications to dust (second-hand items), nor back problems, as you will have to work standing up and carrying loads
You know how to handle potential conflicts
You are willing to work on Saturdays

1. A permanent contract, full-time, 37 hours 30 minutes per week, 5-day regime, from Monday to Saturday with a day of rest to be agreed
