Job description
Today, BRUXEO is looking for a new project manager for its DIGIBRUX department. This essential role consists of supporting Brussels non-profit organisations free of charge in their digitalisation journey, by providing them with the tools, resources and knowledge that will help them navigate an effective digital transition, with the aim of consolidating their societal impact. 💻
You will join the dynamic BRUXEO team of 15 people and you will work independently on your project. With the support of the BRUXEO coordination, you will manage and develop the "DIGIBRUX" project by providing support to non-profit organisations of heterogeneous sizes and levels of digital maturity as well as from different sectors of activity.
👉 As a Digitalization and Digital Transformation Advisor at BRUXEO, your main missions will be:
💻 40% - Support for digital transformation :
You will carry out in-depth digital diagnostics of social profit companies to identify their digital needs, assess their digital maturity, suggest a personalized action plan and recommend suitable resources, whether software, hardware or consultancy. This mission will consist of leading collective and individual sessions with non-profit organisations, mobilising the frameworks developed by DigiBrux while being creative in designing new ones if necessary, and demonstrating rigour in project management.
📝 30% - Organization of workshops and seminars :
You will be responsible for planning and organising workshops and seminars, in collaboration with experts or led by you according to your appetites on certain themes, to enrich the knowledge of non-profit organisations in various aspects of digitalisation and encourage the exchange of good practices.
📣 20% - Animation of sectoral or thematic working groups :
You will organize and lead sectoral working groups to address common challenges, encourage the pooling of resources and the co-development of digital projects. As an indication, the working group on management software (ERP/CRM) is a must. Given the potential for transformation for non-profit organisations, this working group has already had 2 editions.
👌 5% - Technical Orientation :
You will offer a free guidance desk to help non-profit organisations clarify their digital needs, decipher technical specifications, find suitable resources and tools, identify any financial aid available, and advise strategically on their digital roadmap.
🚀 5% - Resource Development :
You will enrich a digital toolbox, creating and bringing together various resources to support the digital transformation of non-profit organisations.
💼 Transverse:
Awareness of legal 👩 ⚖️ obligations
You will make sure to remind non-profit organisations of their legal obligations relating to the GDPR, cybersecurity, CLA n°39, the right to disconnect, and the Accessibility Directive.
Raising awareness of responsible 🌱 digital technology
You will carry out awareness-raising actions with non-profit organisations on the issues of ethics, inclusion and sustainability of digital technology. You will encourage associations to adopt responsible practices and to become signatories of the Responsible Digital Charter via ISIT.
Project 🤝 management and development
You will actively contribute to the management and development of the DIGIBRUX project, participating in the planning of missions, the development of new services, and the writing of activity reports.
Voluntary participation in some internal working groups such as the eco-team, the Communication WG... (others can be created).
Profile
🎓 Training(s):
Holder of a university degree and proven training/experience in the project management, digital or IT professions.
💼 Desired professional experience(s ):
Work experience in a similar function or in the above areas is desired. Experience or knowledge of the private and/or public social profit (non-market) sector is an asset.
🔎 Skills sought:
Strong appetite for digital technology: knowledge of business management software (CRM, ERP), open source software, collaboration, project management and communication tools. Knowledge of process digitization tools (low-code/no-code) is appreciated. Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 office suite.
Functional analysis: excellent ability to interpret and formalise the digital requirements of non-profit organisations, to draw up detailed specifications and to ensure clear and effective communication with various digital service providers, thus ensuring a perfect match between the needs expressed and the technical solutions implemented.
Pedagogy and communication : competence to explain and popularize technical concepts. Ease in public speaking, meeting facilitation and strong writing skills.
Project management : experience with a very good sense of organization, planning and time management.
Responsible digital affinity : strong interest in ethics, inclusion, accessibility and sustainability in the digital realm. You are motivated to promote responsible digital practices within non-profit organisations.
Asset: Basic knowledge of the legal framework or an interest in deepening your understanding of the legal and regulatory framework, including GDPR and cybersecurity best practices. You are ready to keep abreast of developments and guide non-profit organisations to ensure their compliance with legal obligations in their digital practices.
