"Touching books that are 1000 years old is a privilege", Yves, medieval historian and library director
For 38 years, Yves Charlier has been working in a library, in the middle of more than 30,000 old books, medieval manuscripts and incunabula. A medieval historian by training, he has made his passion his profession... and not just any library: director of the library of the seminary of Liège. It combines responsibility and enthusiasm for heritage in the same place. Through this interview, I was able to discover that these books have a lot of things to tell us, like Yves who has lots of anecdotes to tell us.
Happy listening!
