A Dialysis Nurse (m/f/x)
For a full-time fixed-term contract
What does the job consist of?
As a dialysis nurse, you ensure the smooth running of hemodialysis sessions by performing medico-technical acts:
· You prepare the dialysis machine as well as the necessary medical equipment and medicinal products.
· You welcome, prepare and install the patient while controlling the medical parameters.
· You ensure the continuous monitoring and delivery of care to patients with kidney failure so that this process takes place optimally and comfortably for patients.
In addition, you will ensure the order, general cleanliness and hygiene of the dialysis room, beds and chairs.
Your team and environment:
Etterbeek-Ixelles : You will join a dynamic team that manages 15 positions. This team is currently composed of a deputy head nurse, 11 nurses and a nursing assistant.
In addition, there are 4 nephrologists who work at the Iris Sud Hospitals to ensure the continuity and quality of care.
Working hours for a full-time employee : You work 4 days a week between Monday and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will also participate in the callable shifts from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. as well as on Sundays. These guards are to be provided at the Ixelles site when you are called.
For a part-time employee, the schedule is to be seen according to the desired working time.
How about we talk about you?
Your training:
· You are in possession of a bachelor's degree or a certificate in nursing stamped and registered by the Medical Commission of Brabant.
· Ideally, you have training in nephrology-dialysis.
Your experience :
· You already have experience in dialysis or you are looking for a first or new experience in dialysis.
· You have a good knowledge of Dutch : You are able to understand the patient's needs and communicate with your colleagues
Your skills :
· Team spirit: You like to work in a team and you have a sense of collaboration. You follow up with your colleagues and the doctor and give indications and instructions to nursing assistants.
· You listen to patients.
· You have a good knowledge of equipment or you are motivated to learn.
