Data Analyst
Job description
As an experienced data analyst , you play a key role in developing our organization's data-driven initiatives by leveraging your proven expertise to provide actionable analytics and support informed decision-making across business teams.
On a daily basis:
You support business teams in their data-related requests and structure the results in the form of easy-to-read and low-maintenance lists, tables, graphs or dashboards, in line with your customers' information needs and GDPR regulations.
You analyze data needs by assessing their availability, quality and understanding at the beginning of projects to determine if they are suitable for the need and what their level of complexity is.
You support data product owners in their data mining.
You support business teams in improving their data culture through a defined collaboration model: data understanding, best practices for creating dashboards, data storytelling and best practices for data mining.
You identify ways to increase the adoption of the solutions you've developed as well as stakeholder satisfaction.
You play an important role in the implementation of the data catalog by validating the accuracy and usefulness of the data. You are also expected to provide feedback to improve the catalog.
You will participate in the implementation of projects and continuous improvement initiatives within multidisciplinary teams.
Profile
Your profile as a data analyst :
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in mathematics, economics, computer science or information management.
You have proven professional experience as a data analyst or business data analyst (minimum 5 years).
You have technical expertise in data models, database design and development, and data mining techniques.
You have knowledge and experience with databases (SQL, etc.) and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.). Python programming is an asset.
You have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and present results, as well as disseminate large volumes of information with accuracy and attention to detail.
You have a strong work ethic and the skills to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously with ease.
You are a strong team player.
You are fluent in French and English, both oral and written.
