Job description

As an Accounting Treasurer, you perform all treasury-related tasks to ensure that incoming and outgoing payments are executed on a daily basis.

On a daily basis:

  • You will monitor accounts, reconciliations, and specific entries.

  • You post bank statements and cash transactions.

  • You guarantee the availability of cash and short-term forecasting via accounting or treasury tools in order to make daily payments (third parties, internal customers, employees, members).

  • You draw up the schedules, ensure that the payment deadlines in force are respected.

  • You identify inconsistencies, analyze unrecognized payments , and investigate by contacting internal and external parties.

  • You will participate in the development of the cash flow plan and the long-term forecasts of receipts and disbursements.

Profile

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in accounting (or equivalent by experience).

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in Finance, preferably in Treasury.

  • You are change-oriented, with a critical mind and a desire for continuous improvement.

  • You are able to manage your stress during periods of high activity and maintain a high level of quality and rigor, even in an emergency.

  • You are autonomous, able to manage priorities and move forward proactively.

  • A good knowledge of Excel is a plus.

  • A good knowledge of the mutual insurance sector and its regulatory and accounting specificities is an asset.
