Background
taf is an adapted work company of 70 people located in Forest. It is organised for people with disabilities with adapted supervision. The non-profit organisation is active in 6 sectors of activity.
Scope of Function
To complete our team, we are looking for a Manager for our professional cleaning service.
The service employs around twenty people with disabilities who work for around thirty customers and spread over different sites in Brussels. Our cleaning missions are carried out in schools, administrations, companies, shops, common areas of buildings, etc.
The function is carried out under the supervision of the General Management and with the help of a team leader.
Function and responsibility
Manage, supervise and ensure the responsibility of workers
Participate in job interviews for new workers
To ensure the professional training of workers during their reception but also continuously
Ensure human management on site and optimize the professional well-being of workers with disabilities
Be responsible for the quality of cleaning of the work entrusted to you
Carry out schedules
Guarantee the encoding of services and attendance
Ensure the follow-up of invoicing in collaboration with the accounting department
Organize the supply of products and materials to the various workstations and control stocks
Control the consumption of cleaning products
Ensure customer relations
Visit all outdoor worksites regularly
Ensure good relations with other managers and colleagues through positive communication and teamwork
Visit potential new sites and collaborate with the sales manager in the realization of offers
Profile
You have a higher education degree or at least 2 years of experience in an equivalent position in the cleaning sector
You have proven experience in team management, client management and planning
You have experience in maintenance, cleaning or subcontracting
You have excellent communication skills, with all types of personalities
You demonstrate diplomacy, empathy and assertiveness
You are rigorous, solution-oriented, persevering
You are able to manage multiple tasks independently
You are resistant to change
You are proactive and dynamic
You are in possession of a driving licence and are comfortable driving around Brussels
You are willing to be able to shift your hours on an ad hoc basis (work only from Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on a 38-hour/week schedule)
Having a knowledge of Dutch is a plus
