Today, we are looking for a financing specialist to join our team in Brussels on a permanent contract.

👉 How will you make a difference

You will help us to 'finance change to change finance', by supporting our professional clients in their sustainable projects. The Business Banking team specialises in granting loans to professionals with a positive impact on the environment, society or culture. The Financing Specialist is responsible for monitoring a portfolio of clients active in these sectors.

🚀 In practice:

  • You will be the main contact person for your customer portfolio.

  • You analyze new credit applications for your existing customers or prospects, taking into account aspects of impact, risk and return.

  • You monitor the risk of your customer portfolio by drafting credit file reviews (collection and analysis of financial data, impact assessment, etc.).

  • You will contribute to the drafting of sector analyses for the sectors in which Triodos Bank is active.

  • You ensure that the procedures relating to credits are clear and applied within the department, while proposing ways to improve on a daily basis.

🤝 To succeed in this position, you will:

  • Preferably have a Master's degree in a financial orientation or similar (Finance, Management, Economics, Law,...) or equivalent experience. 🎓

  • Have good knowledge and writing skills in Dutch, French and English.

  • Ideally, you should have a minimum of 2 years' relevant professional experience in credit activities or one of our sectors of activity (renewable energy, culture, social, non-profit,...).

  • Wish to contribute to the management and development of a portfolio of loans to sustainable companies and organizations.

  • Demonstrate both analytical (especially financial) and business abilities.

  • Have a good sense of synthesis, in order to present your analyses in a succinct way. 📝

  • Have a critical mind and are oriented towards continuous improvement in the way we work.

  • Be able to take initiative and manage a multitude of tasks.

👀 Who will you be working with?

You will report directly to the Middle Office Team Lead and work in collaboration with the other teams in the Business Banking department (Origination and Loan Administration). The Middle Office team is made up of 9 people.
