Analytical Biochemical Lab Technician / Researcher

To support the growth of our biorefinery business unit, we are looking for a highly motivated and qualified analytical biochemical laboratory technician /researcher to join our team and play a crucial role in our research and development efforts. 🚀

You will be responsible for conducting a variety of analytical tests and experiments, with a focus on the analysis of lipids, sugars, and proteins. This role requires expertise in HPLC, mass spectrometry (MS), and various spectroscopic techniques. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of biochemical principles and laboratory procedures, as well as experience working in a startup or similar dynamic environment.

👩 ⚕️ Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize analytical methods for the quantification and characterization of lipids, sugars and proteins.

• Perform routine and nonroutine analyses using HPLC, MS, and other spectroscopic techniques (e.g., UV-Vis, FTIR, Raman).

• Prepare samples for analysis, including extraction, purification, and derivatization. 🧪

• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, including HPLC, MS, and spectrometers.

• Analyze and interpret data, and prepare reports summarizing results.

• Contribute to the development and validation of new analytical methods.

• Collaborate with other scientists and researchers to support project objectives.

• Contribute to a safe and organized laboratory environment. 🔬

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in biotechnology, microbiology, chemistry, or biochemistry  […] or a related field.

• Professional Experience: Ideally having an initial experience in an operational GMP environment.

• Technical skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with HPLC, MS (LC-MS, GC-MS) and spectroscopic techniques.

  • Experience with sample preparation techniques for biochemical analyses.

  • Knowledge of data analysis and interpretation software.
