At Tapio, the Senior Carbon Expert works directly with customers, conducting comprehensive carbon assessments and facilitating workshops and training sessions. This hands-on role is designed to equip customers with the tools and knowledge to effectively manage and reduce their carbon footprint.

👉 What you will do in a few words

You will be the liaison between our expertise, operations and product team to help identify our customers' key concerns and what could alleviate them. You will be responsible for:

• Provide advice, advice and training to a variety of clients on climate-related topics;

• Take ownership of carbon footprints from A to Z, for companies of various sizes and sectors of activity, and make recommendations to reduce their emissions;

• Helping clients set and achieve science-based targets (SBTi);

• Work with the product team to refine methodologies and frameworks based on customer feedback;

• Conduct workshops and trainings for clients ;

• Develop our services by focusing on climate impact (SBTi, LCA, legislation, etc.);

• Participate in prototype testing and strategic developments;

• Collaborate with Tapio's technical and product teams to improve workflow;

• Understand the challenges faced by customers in defining their company's climate strategy;

• Implement and improve our consultation process;

• Generate ideas on the development of our low-carbon tools.

👀 We are looking for

Awareness and sensitivity to climate issues, motivation, proactivity, excellence, rigor, appropriation and passion for tech. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn more, autonomous and able to take initiative.

• Master's degree or equivalent in a discipline related to sustainable development;

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a consultant, carbon expert or sustainability manager;

• A passion for carbon management, climate action, and sustainability initiatives; 🌱

• Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and oral) – Dutch is an asset;

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively ;

• Strong communication and organizational skills;

• A collaborative and proactive approach; Willing to work in a learning-by-doing environment.

• Someone curious, competent and motivated ;

• Good knowledge of international carbon standards and systems (Ademe, GES scope 3, LCA, SBTi, etc.).
