Social Worker
Job description
Background
The Maison Parenté is a shelter for homeless single-parent families that opened its doors in 2021 in Anderlecht. Like the Maison Prévôt, which welcomes isolated adult men in Ixelles, as well as the Maison @Home 18-24, which houses young men aged 18 to 24 in Forest, the structure is part of the non-profit organisation Maisons d'Accueil des Petits Riens, approved and subsidised by the COCOF. The structure can accommodate 16 single parents with their children. Discover the project on our website: https://petitsriens.be/actions-sociales/maison-parente/
Its daily operation is ensured by a multidisciplinary team made up of 3 social workers, 6 specialized educators, a psychologist and a post-accommodation referent. The purpose of this work is to support families in order to enable them to settle permanently in housing.
