Job description
As a System Administrator / Infrastructure Manager, you will be part of the "Infrastructure" department of the Department of Information and Systems. This department, made up of about twenty people, is in charge of the design, implementation and operational monitoring of the entire IT infrastructure of the Institution.
Your missions are:
To support the EMR Epic (Electronic Patient Record) infrastructure: Training & Certification on the role that is part of the function and involves a 2-week trip to the United States
Ensure monitoring, updates and migration for exchange/o365 and active directory tools thanks to your expertise in connection with these tools
To ensure the implementation, maintenance and operational monitoring of central systems on the basis of the studies of a System Manager including (non-exhaustive):
services such as Active Directory, MS Exchange/o365, printing
Windows and Linux servers
VMWare or XenServer hypervisors
Citrix XenApp servers
management, monitoring or security tools
Set up and monitor management processes, automated or not
Participate in the analysis and resolution of incidents reported by users via the helpdesk (2nd or 3rd line) or monitoring systems
Participate in projects with suppliers and other departments (integration)
Participate in the implementation of the IT department's strategy and the adaptation of internal standards or processes
Profile
You have a bachelor's degree, ideally with a focus on computer science
You are familiar with one or more of the infrastructure systems
You have knowledge of Windows and/or Linux OS
Skills acquired in other technical areas are an asset
You are able to actively participate in a conversation in English
You can occasionally carry heavy loads (e.g. waiter)
You are stress-resistant, autonomous and pro-active
You are meticulous and organized
You demonstrate great interpersonal and communication skills
You are "service-oriented"
You are willing to participate in the on-call and on-call roles 1 week / 7 and one day of on-call duty in the morning (8am) or evening (6pm)
