Who are we ? Cabas (www.cabas.coop) is a farmers' market located in Ixelles, the first of its kind in Brussels.

How do we work in practice? The heart of our project is the support of small producers who work organically and in peasant agriculture.  We collaborate with about a hundred of them. They supply us either directly or via other short circuit cooperatives that share our values. The result : 90% of what we sell comes from small producers, the vast majority of whom are Belgian, who work organically and in small-scale agriculture.

In order to ensure a decent income for producers, we do not negotiate prices. At Cabas, we talk about the social economy, a project with an economic aim at the service of producers and customers.es : Good, healthy products, which allow producers to live decently and at a price that is affordable for customers.
