Project Arcturus: rediscovering the joy of learning.
In this special episode of the Podcasthon Belgium 2026, Midoricast gives the floor to the non-profit organisation Arcturus, a place of alternative learning born from a simple observation: too many children suffer from the traditional school system.
Faced with school phobia , dropping out, loss of meaning, parents and professionals have decided to take action. Their ambition?
Giving children back the desire to learn
Rediscover natural curiosity.
Reconciling knowledge, nature, cooperation and autonomy.
Arcturus is not a school in the traditional sense of the word, it is a living space, anchored in nature, where learning starts from the intrinsic desire of the child.
It talks about democratic pedagogy, critical thinking, solidarity rather than competition. We are experimenting with another way of growing together.
This episode is a call for donations.
Because protecting children also means protecting their mental health.
Because educating differently is prevention rather than repair.
Because taking care of children today is a profoundly eco-responsible act.
