A sterilization nurse (m/f/x)

On a permanent contract, full-time

What does the job consist of?

As a sterilization nurse, you participate in the various tasks related to the transport, pre-disinfection, cleaning, disinfection, packaging and sterilization of medical-surgical devices. You are precise and rigorous in the application of procedures and hygiene rules. Thanks to your process control, you choose the applicable sterilization process and ensure the correct use of the various equipment. You are resistant to stress and do not hesitate to take the appropriate measures to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment. You work independently, but as part of a team, you value collaboration and communicate easily. Moreover, you ensure the continuous training of sterilization auxiliaries. Your thoroughness allows you to detect anomalies and refer them to the nurse in charge. Thanks to your analytical and synthesis mind, you participate in the improvement of procedures. You develop and monitor the traceability of devices.

·       Respect and ensure compliance with hygiene and staff protection measures when taking care of medical-surgical devices;

·       Supervise the packaging of clean and disinfected medical devices as well as the quality of sterilized products;

·       Manage the surgical instrument fleet in collaboration with the various manufacturers and service providers.

How about we talk about you?

You are in possession of a Bachelor's degree in nursing (graduate) or a certificate in nursing stamped and registered by the Medical Commission of Brabant and you have training in sterilization or in the process of obtaining it. You have experience in the field of sterilization or in the operating room and you are looking for a new experience. You have an affinity for sterilization and you enjoy continuous training.

You are looking for a full-time job where you work 5 days a week (Monday to Sunday) with hours between 7 am and 8:30 pm (+ night shifts).

You are fluent in French and have a good knowledge of the second national language.

Your computer knowledge allows you to ensure optimal follow-up of files.

·       Min: cat 14 = 3379.86€ (index 2.1647) Max cat 14 = 5339.19€ (index: 2.1647)
