Shift Leader - Production Team (Food)

An alternative to traditional fast food, offering quality products, BON, which has specialized in healthy and gourmet ready-to-eat for more than 10 years now, offers a wide choice of smoothies, salads, breads, wraps but also hot dishes and pastries. BON now has 17 points of sale located throughout the Brussels region as well as in Liège, Antwerp and Mons. BON also offers catering solutions for both private and professional events.

In full expansion with a head full of projects, we are looking for a Shift Leader to strengthen our production team (assembly of dishes).

Function Objective : As a Shift Leader, you are the driving force behind production during your shift. You will ensure the smooth running of the potting operations, compliance with quality standards, the application of hygiene rules (HACCP) and the coordination of your team.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Production supervision:

• Organize and distribute work across your team during the shift.

• Actively participate in the production: potting, dressing, labelling.

• Ensure compliance with the technical sheets, weights and visual standards of the dishes.

• Manage unforeseen events or discrepancies in real time (quantities, quality, material, etc.).

2. Compliance with quality and hygiene standards:

• Rigorously apply the rules of hygiene and food safety (HACCP).

• Ensure compliance with workstation cleaning and maintenance procedures.

• Ensure the traceability of the products handled.

3. Team management:

• Welcome and supervise shift employees.

• Create an efficient, caring and respectful work dynamic.

• Transmit instructions, correct discrepancies and promote skills development.

• Experience in cooking, food production or catering (central kitchen is an asset).

• Knowledge of HACCP standards.

• Experience in team management or team leader role appreciated.

• Ability to read and apply data sheets.

• Leader, in the field, organized and autonomous.

• Demanding on quality and hygiene.

• Comfortable with repetitive manual tasks and production throughput.

• Good team spirit and sense of teamwork.
