Second Life Project Manager/Circular Economy (M/F) - Decathlon Anderlecht
Job description
Second Life Project Manager/Circular Economy
The context: At Decathlon, we believe that sport should be sustainable. The Second Life project is our response to reduce our environmental impact: we buy, repair and sell second-hand sports equipment. Do you want to join a project with a circular DNA to contribute to a more sustainable development in the world of sports equipment? This offer is for you!
Your daily missions: You will be the right hand of the Second Life manager in the field:
Business Developer: You run the Second Life department (merchandising, product promotion, prices) to boost sales.
Buyer: You manage the purchase of equipment from our customers (price estimate, quick diagnosis, negotiation).
Manager: You monitor stocks and key indicators (KPIs) to optimize the profitability of the project.
Communication: You help to spread the word about the service in-store and through local actions.
Profile
Your profile
You are a team player, an eye for detail and a real passion for circularity. You work in an organized and precise manner and always provide the best possible service.
In daily contact with the customer, you have excellent communication and listening skills and a sharp commercial sense.
You are resourceful, you like action and you are not afraid to take initiative.
You are ideally bilingual FR/NL.
Your schedule and pace
Flexible hours between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Availability on Saturdays.
Why apply?
By joining our team, you benefit from a stimulating environment, but also from a great package of benefits:
Career development: A dynamic company where you have the opportunity to grow quickly.
Full compensation: Fixed + variable salary (up to 10%), 13th month, double holiday pay and annual bonus.
Everyday benefits: Meal vouchers (€8/day travelled) and reimbursement of your transport costs.
Health and Safety: Hospitalisation insurance (extended to your family) and death insurance included.
Passion for sport: 30% discount on your Decathlon purchases.
Business project: Possibility of becoming a shareholder of the company.
Conduct of interviews
Step 1: Let's get to know each other! A first exchange by video to discuss your background, yourpassions, but also your motivation and your ambitions to join the circular project.
Step 2: Immersion (Interview + Practical case). If the feeling goes well, we meet a second time in the store. On the program: a more in-depth exchange of one hour and a practical case of 30 to 45 minutes in the workshop to put you in a real situation!
Step 3: The decision. We will give you feedback very quickly. If it's positive: welcome to the team!
