Recruitment Officer (m/f/x) (Ref. 104-26)
Job description
The Iris Sud Hospitals, the Saint-Pierre University Hospital and the Brussels University Hospital (H.U.B) are part of a project for a strategic grouping of public and university hospitals in Brussels, supported by a favourable opinion from the medical councils. This dynamic strengthens collaboration between teams, while consolidating the stability of our establishments and supporting their evolution towards an ever more integrated and coherent care offer. It is a real opportunity to join a stimulating environment, driven by strong values of public service, clinical and academic excellence.
IRIS South Hospitals is looking for,
For the Human Resources Department, located on the Etterbeek-Baron Lambert site,
A Recruitment Officer (m/f/x)
Under a fixed-term contract (6 months) or part-time (60%)
Why do we need you?
Our recruitment team is growing temporarily! On the occasion of the maternity leave of one of our colleagues, we are looking for a recruitment manager who is ready to take on a rich and varied challenge.
At the heart of our activity, you take charge of recruitment from A to Z: from the identification of talents to their recruitment. Every day is different: you recruit a wide variety of profiles and play an essential role in the smooth running of our hospitals by enabling each department to find the employees it needs.
This position is for you if:
- You like to recruit a variety of profiles with different levels of responsibility
- You want to have a transversal vision of the hospital environment
- You want to work in a "family" environment where all staff say "hello" to each other
- What matters is the quality of your recruitments and not only the achievement of KPIs
- Your work has a direct impact on the teams in place
- Your underlying goal is to ensure optimal patient support
- You want to get involved in improving our recruitment practices
- You like to have a fast pace of work
- You are looking for a work-life balance
What you'll do:
- You will manage the recruitment process from A to Z: intake, writing the offer, identifying recruitment channels, CV screening, telephone screening, creation and taking of tests (assessments, role-plays, work samples, etc.), interviews, feedback to candidates, salary proposal
- You will be involved in projects related to recruitment and the recruitment team
- You will have an advisory role for the managers in your portfolio and you will position yourself as a real partner
- You will keep candidates informed from the first contacts throughout the recruitment process and accompany future new hires until the contract is signed
- You will organize (agenda management, planning) interviews and tests because you want to maintain the link with the candidate from the beginning to the end of the process
- You will keep the data up to date in our Applicant Tracking System
- You will ensure the administrative follow-up of files (mobility, commitment, etc.) in collaboration with the HR Assistant
With whom and how?
You will join a team of 2 recruiters and 1 HR assistant where involvement, humor and collaboration take precedence. Our team recruits for all profiles (caregivers, paramedical, technical, logistical, administrative) except for doctors. Each recruiter has their own portfolio.
Our HR managers are caring and open to new ideas. They support the recruitment team within the institution.
You will have the freedom to organize your recruitments as you wish because our managers are used to giving a lot of autonomy to our team.
You will work mainly on the Baron Lambert site and will be regularly required to travel to the other sites.
You recognize yourself in this profile:
- You have a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree.
- You don't have experience in a hospital setting? It doesn't matter. The important thing is that you have at least 3 years' experience in recruitment (firm, temporary agency, corporate, self-employed), that you are able to carry out a recruitment from A to Z and that you want to deepen your knowledge of the different professions for which you are recruiting
- You have good theoretical and practical knowledge of recruitment (skills dictionary, profile taking, interview template, structured interview, STAR method, testing)
- The candidate experience is central to your practice
- You are organized and are used to managing different priorities at the same time
- You like to work in a team
- You have an analytical and critical mind
- You are resourceful in finding solutions
- You are rigorous and methodical in your profile-taking, the writing of offers, the management of information
- You have easy communication both orally and in writing and are a good listener
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch
What we offer:
- Type of contract: A fixed-term contract – 6 months
- Working time: 60% (22h48/week)
- Schedule: Flexible (check-in time between 8am and 9am), 3 days to be determined between Monday and Friday
- Start of contract: As soon as possible.
A series of benefits related to well-being at work:
- A personalized integration process;
- A training program that will accompany you throughout your career;
- A possibility of mobility within the IRIS network;
- A friendly working atmosphere and a balance between private and professional life;
- Services that ensure the quality of life at work (organisation of massages during working hours, etc.);
- The opportunity to join a hospital labeled "Ecodynamic Company", a major recognition of our commitment to quality care and sustainable practices
A whole series of advantages:
- An attractiveness bonus;
- A collective social service that offers a whole series of benefits (various bonuses, discounts via benefits at work, holiday stays at attractive prices, etc.);
- Preferential rates in all hospitals in the IRIS + Erasmus network (for you, your spouse, your ascendants and descendants at your expense);
- Meal vouchers worth 7.30 euros;
- A contribution to public transport costs of 100% for STIB, 80% for SNCB, TEC and DE LIJN and/or a bicycle allowance of €0.36/km
- A bilingual allowance (subject to the submission of the Selor Art. 10 or 12, you will have the opportunity to take Dutch courses free of charge during your working hours);
- 24 days of statutory leave and 5 days of extra-legal leave (+ special leave);
- Anadditional pension via group insurance;
- A workplace close to Brussels (Schuman, Luxembourg, Germoir) and metro (Mérode) stations
The recruitment process:
- A telephone interview with a recruiter
- A behavioral analysis (DISC) to be completed online
- An interview with our Manager and a recruiter as well as role-plays and exercises related to the position
