Marketing & Community Manager

Waste Warriors is a fast-growing start-up that transforms fruit and vegetables rejected from the food chain into non-perishable products, delivered in our quarterly boxes. Our community now exceeds 40,000 people and our 6,000 active members receive their box every quarter. And this is just the beginning.

Your mission

You are the leader of our brand and our community. In concrete terms:

• Tell our stories : you shine a light on our farmers, their residual flows and you convey these stories in the most impactful way possible to our community

• Manage member communication : from registration emails to the reception of the inbox at home, you make sure that our 6,000 members are fully informed at every step

• Driving growth : this year's goal is to reach 12,500 members, save 1 million kg of fruits and vegetables, and donate 500,000 meals to the food bank

• Be the voice of the community : through surveys and market intelligence, you feed product decisions in collaboration with the team

• 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing and/or brand management

• Comfortable with social networks and their trends, you know how to react quickly when necessary

• Experience with Brevo and notions of SEO are a plus, otherwise you will be taught

• You want to manage: a social media manager is already paying off, and the team is set to grow

• Autonomous, proactive and resourceful: when something needs to be fixed, you find your way

• Comfortable with MS Office and Google Workspace

• Excellent Dutch (written/oral), professional English, French is an asset
