Job description
The Vias Institute is a knowledge center focused on sustainable behavior change with the aim of reducing societal risks. We are mainly active in the areas of road safety, mobility and safety.
Your responsibilities:
You will work for several technical services (called laboratories with us).
You can find more information about our labs: https://vias.be/fr/entreprises-et-gouvernements/laboratoria/You will therefore carry out tests in our specialist laboratory and on public roads to ensure that these measuring devices are working properly.
You record the measurement data and report any problems or non-conformities. You maintain measuring instruments and tools and take care of the equipment.
You will contribute to our quality system (ISO) and ensure that procedures are properly followed.
You are also in charge of administration and ensure a good relationship with customers.
You lend a hand to the other labs when necessary.
Profile
You have a bachelor's degree (electrical engineering, electromechanics, chemistry, etc.) or equivalent technical training.
Experience in the technical field or in taking measurements according to compliance testing guidelines is an asset.
You are organized and precise, active and solution-oriented.
You have a B license and be ready to travel throughout Belgium. Working in the evenings and on weekends sporadically is no problem for you.
You have a very good knowledge of French and understand Dutch relatively well.
