Job description

The Vias Institute is an independent knowledge centre active in the fields of road safety, safety and mobility. One of our activities is to support both companies and local authorities in the implementation of sustainable (road) safety projects. In order to support and further develop these activities, we are looking for an Account Manager:

As an Account Manager, you have a wide range of tasks to perform:

  • You are responsible for responding to incoming requests, detecting customer needs (both companies and local authorities) and translating them into concrete offers.

  • You are actively working on the development of our customer file via cold calling and re-contact customers with whom we have already collaborated in the past.

  • You will proactively follow up on cases. Not only are you in charge of business contacts, but you also ensure that the files are properly managed from both an administrative and financial point of view.

  • You make sure that the colleagues who give the workshop have all the information they need to prepare for it.

  • You take part in events/fairs to promote our activities.

  • You develop new consultancy projects and bring together the right experts to implement tailor-made proposals for clients and you work in a growing team.


  • Be customer-oriented, communicative and enterprising.

  • You dare to think innovatively, spot opportunities and work flexibly.

  • You have a commercial mindset and know how to translate customer needs into concrete terms.

  • You communicate fluently in French and ideally in Dutch, a professional knowledge of English is an asset.
