Job Coach
Job description
About TWI
TWI is a socially involved social enterprise that offers jobs to people with a distance to the labor market. We build targeted bridges between social commitment, high-quality service and economic added value. Because impact only counts when it is sustainable and powerful enough to grow with it.
We work on the basis of our values: dignity, sincerity, commitment and serenity, which not only colour our cooperation, but also the way we do business. We are fully committed to growth potential: for us, humanity is the foundation for real progress, professional maturity and long-term employment.
As a Job Coach, you are one of the key figures in this story.
Your role
As a Job Coach, you will take on a strong, goal-oriented role: you will support our employees from the moment they join us and throughout their career. You will be their point of contact, coach and guide. You will support and empower them in their growth, both at work and in their personal lives. You work in a results-oriented manner, with clear priorities and a focus on sustainable behavioural change.
You will work closely with coaches (work supervisors), unit managers and the HR manager, and you will actively contribute to a warm, dignified, connected and autonomous work culture.
Your goal?
Recruitment & Onboarding:
You will advertise vacancies, select candidates and conduct selection interviews.
You will activate your strong network and work closely with the VDAB, Actiris, OCMW/CPAS, schools and other partners in the field of admission and accreditation.
Together with the coach (work supervisor), you will ensure a warm and professional onboarding process.
You will monitor expectations and success criteria from day one, so that new employees quickly receive guidance and support..
Activation & Well-being:
You identify progress, reinforce what is going well and encourage employees to further develop their strengths.
You detect factors that hinder work (e.g. stress, housing issues, psychosocial challenges) and guide employees towards solutions.
You build a strong network with external support and refer employees to the appropriate services.
You ensure dignity, respect and equality at every stage of the process, striking the right balance between empathy and clarity.
Team Development & Coaching:
You encourage autonomy, responsibility and forward-thinking behaviour in every employee.
You guide employees through the Personal Development Plan (POP) and appraisal reviews, mapping out career paths with a coach (work supervisor). Moreover, you find energy through supporting the entire process, from orientation to growth.
You support coaches (work supervisors) in their guidance and help build a true culture of learning.
You bridge the gap between private life and work: you see how personal stability reinforces professional growth, and you help employees and clients move forward by skilfully aligning these two worlds.
Administration & HR support
You will be involved in managing contracts, attendance, salaries, training, absence certificates, etc.
You will ensure that administration is carried out correctly and transparently, in collaboration with the Payroll officer and HR manager.
You will think critically about processes, flag up any issues and translate optimisations into concrete, achievable improvements.
Profile
Your profile
You have one of the required bachelor's or master's degrees in social work, psychology, orthopedagogy, occupational therapy.
Or an equivalent direction with 2 years of experience in a social context. You are a warm, coaching yet powerful supervisor with a straight-back mentality who works both people-oriented and result-oriented.
You combine realism with resilience: you see what is important and let go of the noise.
You communicate clearly, listen sincerely and build trust with employees who need extra support.
You are administratively strong, digitally savvy and work in a systematic way.
You are a team player who takes responsibility and shows initiative.
You speak Dutch fluently and can express yourself verbally well in French.
You sincerely believe in growth, ownership and realistic steps forward, that motivates you every day.
