As a Relationship Manager Business Banking for SME & Non Profit, you are responsible for the following tasks:

  • You proactively approach and seek out prospects in Belgium who respect Triodos' foundations and values by offering solutions in line with our business strategy and financial objectives

  • You are looking for credit, savings and investment opportunities.

  • To do this, you offer financial products that are in line with our business strategy and financial objectives and tailored to the client's needs.

  • You are co-responsible for the development and implementation of the financial strategy and objectives of the business banking department.

  • You negotiate the terms of credit offers with prospects and/or banking partners.

  • You will carry out in-depth analyses (contracts, cash flow model, etc.), draft, present and defend files to the credit committee.

  • You will assist in/or draft the credit agreement in coordination with the back-office teams and the legal department

  • You will coordinate the implementation of the financing, from the eventual due diligence to the financial close.

  • You will monitor the disbursement of credits during the construction phase of the projects financed until they are received.

  • You ensure the follow-up of your customers and the respect of contractual agreements throughout the term of the loan

  • You will monitor market developments in the sector and represent the bank and its values externally on an ad hoc basis (conferences, sector meetings, etc.).

  • Through networking and prospecting, you can identify interesting market segments and business opportunities.


  • You have a university degree (e.g. law, economics, commercial engineering) or equivalent and have at least 5 years' experience in the SME Lending sector.

  • You work in a structured, autonomous, precise and efficient manner with a critical and analytical mind.

  • Communicative and sociable.

  • You are fluent in French or Dutch and have a good knowledge of the other national language. A good knowledge of English is essential.

  • You are a team player and you take to heart to coach colleagues with less experience.

  • Prospecting is a task that inspires you and doesn't scare you.
