Today, we are looking for a Junior Alert Handling & Investigations Analyst to join our team in Brussels on a permanent contract.

How will you make a difference:

You will help us to 'finance change to change finance', by playing a role within the team:

You evaluate alerts of transactions potentially involved in money laundering, sanctions and/or terrorist financing, and contact the client if necessary.
You ensure the fast and correct processing of files.
You conduct investigations into transactions that may violate sanctions legislation .
You are the point of contact within the organisation for questions relating to money laundering, fraud or terrorist financing.

To succeed in this position, you will:

You are bilingual in French and Dutch, with an excellent command of English.
You are able to learn quickly and have a bachelor's or master's degree (in management, economics, criminology, law, etc.).
A first experience in the banking sector or in a similar position is required.
You have a strong interest in financial and banking products, including anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws, or are motivated to deepen your knowledge in the banking field.
You are customer-oriented and enjoy working in a team.
Your flexibility allows you to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
With an analytical and critical mind, you are able to easily identify patterns and anomalies.
Your sense of responsibility and integrity are core values.
