Job description

As part of the ICT team composed of 3 people, you are in charge of coordinating IT-related projects to meet the needs of the various Pro Velo departments, in order to facilitate the operational implementation of our strategic action plan.

Examples of projects related to the IT department already carried out or to be carried out in the future:

  • Implementation of an ERP (Odoo).

  • Implementation of workshop management and inventory management software.

  • Deployment of a checkout solution adapted to our bike shops.

  • Invoicing synchronization between cash registers, ERP and accounting system.

  • Implementation of a new accounting software.

Your tasks:

Management and coordination of IT projects (70% of working time):

  • In collaboration with the functional analyst, you will collect and analyse Pro Velo's needs in terms of new IT tools, in consultation with the teams and the field.

  • You set up a strategy for the department and the IT projects in the medium and long term in which the association can project itself.

  • After validation with the Management Committee, you have an overview of the various projects and coordinate their implementation, in collaboration with the various project stakeholders.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that budgets and deadlines are respected.

  • You are the manager and single point of contact for certain projects.

  • You select the external partners to work with and ensure the "negotiation" aspect with them.

  • You support change :

    • By communicating throughout the project about its progress, by listening and managing any potential resistance..

    • Ensuring that Pro Velo employees take ownership of new developments, through training and documentation.

Management and supervision of the IT team (30% of working time): you are in charge of the collective dynamics, individual follow-up, setting objectives, distributing the workload, the well-being of each person and the management of priorities.

Profile

  • You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in project management.

  • You have a logical mind and are able to learn new tools.

  • Enthusiastic and assertive, you are able to convince, unite and motivate different actors around a project and a common goal.

  • Your organization, your rigour, your analytical and synthesis skills as well as your sense of priorities are among your primary qualities.

  • Solution-oriented, you have a good ability to listen and understand needs.

  • Optimistic and open to change, you take initiative and propose new ideas.

  • Autonomous: you have a sense of responsibility.

  • You are able to position a project in a long-term perspective.

  • You like to work in a team.

  • You have basic knowledge of office suites.

  • You are ready to travel to our various locations in Wallonia.

Considered an asset:

  • You have a good knowledge of agile project methodologies.

  • A first experience in team management.

  • You have an affinity with participatory dynamics, and you are familiar with collective intelligence methods.

  • You have previous experience with Odoo, Bob50, Microsoft Azure

  • You have some knowledge of accounting.

  • You have knowledge of Active Directory.

  • You have some knowledge of GNU/Linux systems administration.

  • Interest in and knowledge of the world of free software (GNU/Linux, Thunderbird, Firefox, Rocket.chat, Nextcloud, Big Blue Button, WordPress, etc.)

  • You are concerned about active mobility and environmental issues.

  • You have a good knowledge of Dutch and/or English.

  • An open-ended contract with a gross monthly salary of between 3553 euros and 4029 euros (salary to TP) depending on the seniority recognized in the position.
