Job description

Pro Velo is looking to hire a colleague for its HR department to replace a colleague on maternity leave. Join our non-profit organisation that contributes every day to the development of sustainable mobility in Wallonia, Brussels and Antwerp!

Your missions:

  • Within a multidisciplinary team of 4 people, your mission is to provide support on Soft HR matters, mainly recruitment and evaluations, in connection with the head office of the non-profit association located in Brussels, as well as its 6 locations located in Mons, Liège, Namur/Gembloux, Louvain-La-Neuve and Antwerp.

  • You are attentive to the Soft HR needs of the various departments, you develop a knowledge of their activities and play the role of a sounding board for HR information and procedures.

  • You advise colleagues on all questions concerning recruitment, evaluations, as well as well-being. You are a trusted person for your colleagues.

  • You relay specific HR questions (payroll, legal, administrative) to the team's expert colleagues.

  • You will also take part in an HR project (e.g. assessment tool, satisfaction survey, training course, etc.) to improve the service provided to employees and to develop tools for better human resources management.

Your tasks:

In collaboration with your HR manager and HR colleagues:

  • You will be responsible for recruitments from A to Z for certain functions such as Project Manager, Trainer, Mechanic, etc. From the sorting of applications to the signing of the contract.

  • You will conduct evaluation, listening or exit interviews, both in Wallonia and in Brussels.

  • You are available to answer employees' HR questions.

  • You provide support for the organisation of certain events (staff day or assembly).

  • You will provide support in the follow-up of a project, in collaboration with your HR colleagues, related to recruitment, skills development, evaluation, staff well-being.

Profile

  • You have a first experience of at least 3 years in relation to Soft HR ;

  • You are fascinated by people and their environment: you are empathetic, have a sense of contact, are a good listener and are able to adapt;

  • You have good interpersonal and communication skills;

  • With a spirit of analysis and synthesis, you identify and analyze problems, to propose solutions by demonstrating critical thinking, initiative and creativity;

  • In stressful situations, you maintain your ability to make informed decisions by controlling your emotions.

  • You enjoy working in a team while being autonomous in your tasks ;

  • You are mobile across all of our locations and enjoy being in the field ;

  • You are proficient in basic computer tools;

  • A good command of Dutch, both oral and written, is an asset. Just like the idea of being concerned by active mobility and environmental issues.

  • A gross monthly salary between 3028 euros and 3204 euros (full-time salary) depending on the seniority recognized in a similar position.

  • Reimbursement of commuting expenses (0.35ct/km for bicycle – 100% public transport) and reimbursement of travel expenses for missions.

  • The place of work is located at our headquarters in Brussels, and travel will be required to our various locations as needed.
