Your mission
Mekanika currently generates the majority of its leads through inbound channels and marketing. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be the technical-commercial expert who welcomes and advises our prospects. Your role requires a deep understanding of our machines, enabling you to combine your technical expertise with your commercial skills to provide a consultative and personalized sales experience.
A key part of this role will be to master our products perfectly to be able to effectively advise our customers on the best technical solutions for their needs, while achieving your commercial objectives.
You will join the Inbound Sales team under the direction of the Inbound Sales Manager.
Your responsibilities
Technical Consulting: advise prospects on the best technical solutions adapted to their specific needs (materials, dimensions, software, etc.).
Technical Demonstrations: conduct in-depth technical demonstrations of our CNC machines, at Mekanika or occasionally off-site.
Consultative Selling: achieve your monthly revenue targets from inbound prospects, adopting a solution-oriented approach.
Reseller Network Collaboration: redirect prospects to one of our 10 international partners when appropriate and ensure smooth communication with this network.
Negotiation & Closing: negotiate sales contracts and discounts within defined margins.
Pipeline Management: ensure rigorous encoding of commercial data in Pipedrive for KPI tracking.
Cross-functional Collaboration: work closely with teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Profile
2 to 5 years of experience in technical-commercial sales, ideally in a technical or industrial B2B environment.
Strong technical understanding of products and ability to explain complex technical concepts in an accessible way.
Excellent skills in commercial negotiation and closing.
Customer and solution-oriented, with a consultative approach to sales.
Ability to build and rigorously manage a sales pipeline.
A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Passion for innovation and manufacturing technologies.
Excellent command of French and Dutch (oral and written) - command of English is an additional asset (B2 minimum).
