Les Petits Riens | Spullenhulp has more than 300 employees and around 450 volunteers. The non-profit organisation is engaged in socio-economic activities. The collection, sorting and marketing of second-hand goods in 27 stores operated by the association. These activities support a platform for socio-professional integration for people who are far from the labour market or who want to invest in the social cause behind the missions of all the structures of Les Petits Riens.
The Leuven store is the first Petits Riens store in Flanders. After a year of opening, the store team is working to offer their many customers a diverse range of second-hand clothing and accessories.
To strengthen the store team, we are recruiting: An Assistant Manager (h.f.x).
Missions:
The support and human management of the team;
The commercial animation of the shop.
Under the authority of the Regional Store Manager, your activities are:
Accompany, train, monitor and evaluate the team (employees, integration contracts);
Manage the cash registers and ensure the administrative follow-up of the shop;
Ensure the daily sorting, pricing and shelving of products;
Boost the business by following the marketing and merchandising orientations of the sales department;
Guarantee service and customer satisfaction;
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and the well-being of your teams.
Profile
You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position,
You are passionate about fashion, brands, textiles and second-hand accessories,
You like challenges and your social fiber is recognized,
You like contact with customers,
You are dynamic, organized and you adapt easily to the unexpected,
You are fluent in Dutch and oral/written French,
You have a good command of the office tools Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Your mobility in the region is guaranteed.
