As a Team Leader Central Intake and Emergency Reception, you will play a key role in the smooth and efficient management of the emergency admission and intake processes, while ensuring a quality patient experience and optimal performance of your team.
Your missions:
đŁ Leadership & Coordination :
Mentor and support a multidisciplinary team.
Plan and adjust schedules to ensure continuity of service.
Evaluate the performance and develop the skills of your team.
âš Quality of Patient Service :
Guarantee a warm welcome and accurate management of admissions.
Follow up on administrative files and optimize the billing of care.
Ensure reliable encodings and propose improvements to procedures.
đ€ Process Optimization :
Supervise patient flows for rapid care.
Manage data confidentiality and incidents rigorously.
Propose solutions to improve administrative processes.
đ Communication & Reporting :
Maintain smooth communication with your team and partner departments.
Implement performance indicators to optimize flows.
đ©ș Resource Management :
Ensure the management of the equipment and the monitoring of its maintenance.
This key role will allow you to guarantee a quality patient experience while optimizing the performance of your team.
Specificity of the position:
The position is aimed at profiles in contact with external services and able to work independently with a constant high level of quality and in compliance with the deadlines relating to one or more processes in charge.
Variable hours , possibility of weekend services, evenings and nights.
Teleworking possible 1 time/2 weeks after 6 months of seniority in the position.
Profile
Qualifications and experience required
You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in team management.
You are proficient in office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), and knowledge of hospital software is an asset.
You have a good command of English and/or Dutch, and any other language is a plus.
You have knowledge of immigration law, social law and medical terminology.
Essential Skills
You have experience in managing a team in an environment with client/patient flows.
You are able to handle multiple tasks without stress and deal with difficult situations.
You are able to organize the reception and provide continuing education.
You are flexible in terms of schedules. đ
You are familiar with healthcare management mechanisms and hospital billing principles (knowledge of OAZIS is a plus).
You have skills in flow analysis in an ERP and know how to use Excel and Word effectively.
You take a pragmatic approach to solving problems on the ground and raising structural issues.
You develop relationships of trust and respect within your team.
You are autonomous, rigorous and able to manage your time and priorities.
