🔍 Are you passionate about medical law, clinical research and want to evolve in a dynamic and innovative environment ? Join our team as a Legal Advisor and contribute to the legal support of high-stakes research projects.

👥 As a lawyer in our legal department, you will be required to:

  • Provide legal advice, both for the CTC (Clinical Trial center) and for the institution, on various topics such as medical law, liability, contract law, intellectual property, GDPR, data privacy, and many other areas.

  • Draft and review contracts and agreements, including clinical research contracts, human body material (MTA) transfer agreements, and data transfer agreements in collaboration with the DPO.

  • To set up master agreements and other framework contracts for the CTC, while ensuring their compliance with the legislation in force.

  • Perform in-depth legal analyses and actively participate in the drafting of legal documents or articles related to your areas of expertise.

  • Ensure accurate and regular reporting of your activity, while guaranteeing fluid communication with the various stakeholders (lawyers, research managers, DPOs, etc.).

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clinical research projects and ensure their legal compliance.

  • Maintain a constant legal watch to ensure that knowledge of national, European and international regulations is updated.

Profile

🎓 Qualifications and experience required

  • You have a Master's degree in law 

  • You ideally have significant experience in a similar role, with expertise in clinical research, medical law and contracts.

  • Knowledge of English is essential

  • You are  proficient in the Office environment and are open to learning internal IT tools.

  • You are comfortable applying legal standards in clinical research and sensitive data.

  • You have goodorganizational and planning skills and are able to manage several files in parallel

  • You have a keen sense of rigor and detail

  • You have a spirit of analysis and synthesis 

  • You like to take on challenges and are resistant to stress

  • You communicate easily, both orally and in writing, and know how to conduct negotiations

  • You are able to draft legal documents in a clear, precise and efficient manner.

  • You are autonomous, proactive and solution-oriented

  • You are able to work in a team while being a key player in the management of legal projects.

🎯 Additional assets

  • A specialization in medical law, contract law, or clinical trial law and bioethics would be a strong asset.

  • Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
