Security Guard (M/F/X)

As a security guarantor, you will play a crucial role in the protection of people and property within our institution. You will be the guarantor of tranquility and safety, while ensuring that a positive image of the Clinics is maintained.

Your main missions:

 You guarantee the safety of people and property within the institution :

• You ensure access control to the institution and refuse entry to anyone who may threaten security

• You make the different areas of the clinic safe

• You respect the code of ethics and apply the regulations in force

• You present a positive image of clinics

• You maintain regular contact with all clinic users (staff, patients, visitors, shopkeepers)

• You avoid acts of voyeurism

• You operate within the scope of the Privacy Act

• You collect, verify and select information that is useful for prevention and safety

• You intervene in the event of physical or verbal violence, in accordance with the law

• You take on special tasks during exceptional events (VIP visits, etc.)

• You will be the first responder in fire safety

• You participate in actions in partnership with the Police, the Clinics and UCLouvain

• You provide help and constructive listening to the request of the institution's staff

• You will write performance reports and detailed reports if necessary

• You follow the instructions and procedures when the Hospital Emergency Plan is triggered

• You ensure a preventive and deterrent presence in the various areas of the institution

• You respect total confidentiality on the facts observed, the words heard, and the people met

Specificities of the position:

• 100% permanent contract

• 3-shift schedules 7 days a week, 24 hours a day

Knowledge and know-how:

• You have a certificate of general competence as a security guard

• You have a certificate of psychotechnical examination from Selor

• Experience in babysitting is desired

• You present a certificate of good conduct, life and morals

• You communicate easily (knowledge of one or more foreign languages is an asset)

• You are fluent in the French language

 Interpersonal skills:

• You have a good presentation

• You are in good physical condition and have good control of yourself (resistance to stress)

• You fit well into a work team
