Who are we?

Every day, thousands of people cross the streets, parks, schools and public spaces of Wallonia. What if everyone could contribute to making these places cleaner and more pleasant to live in?

This is precisely the mission of Be WaPP.

Be WaPP is a non-profit organisation active throughout Wallonia that works to improve public cleanliness and encourage behaviour that is more respectful of shared space. Created on the initiative of Fost Plus, Fevia Wallonia and Comeos, in partnership with Wallonia, our mission is simple: to contribute to a more pleasant living environment for all.

In concrete terms, we support municipalities, schools, companies, associations and citizens through field projects, practical tools, awareness campaigns and large-scale mobilization actions.

Every year, our projects mobilise tens of thousands of people throughout Wallonia. Among them, the Great Clean-up, which has become the largest citizen event dedicated to public cleanliness in Wallonia.

What makes us unique

At Be WaPP, we are convaincu.es that sustainable change comes through collective action. We don't just raise awareness: we develop concrete solutions, support actors in the field and continuously experiment with new approaches to change behaviour.

We are also fortunate to work on a wide variety of projects: digital campaigns, citizen events, support for municipalities, educational projects, digital tools, citizen participation, artificial intelligence applied to public cleanliness, and many others.
