Philippe is an entrepreneur with a clear vision of the mobility of tomorrow and he co-founded urbike with Delphine Lefebvre and Renaud Sarrazin, a cyclo-logistics cooperative mainly known for its cargo bike deliveries.

But its entrepreneurial history began long before urbike.

Quite quickly after his studies, Philippe joined the Belgian chocolate factory Belvas where he acquired the experience that has made him the entrepreneur he is today.

He quickly tells me how important and lucky he was to have been accompanied by a manager and mentor who made him grow so quickly at the beginning of his career.

After Belvas, Philippe co-founded CityDepot and took his first steps in the world of mobility. It is launching hubs on the outskirts of several major Belgian cities to receive and then deliver goods. All this in order to relieve the cities of delivery trucks.

And it was after selling CityDepot to Bpost that he joined forces once again and launched urbike to tackle urban mobility. You will also discover the reasons that led to the formation of a cooperative as a model of society.

The moment that struck me the most in our interview was when he told me how they managed to change the highway code so that urbike could operate its services. That's when I understood that Philippe was impressively determined and extremely efficient.
