Philipinne François - Demain Sélection - From finance to second-hand for children, Philipinne's big gap
In this episode, it is Philipinne François' turn to appear at the microphone of Donne le Rythme.
Philipinne has launched Demain Sélection, an online sales site for second-hand clothes for children from 0 to 14 years old. It has now been a year since she started full-time, in association with Florence Declercq, and they have been testing a hybrid model: e-shop and in-store sales.
I'm very happy to share the story of a fairly young project and not that of a big company that has already been around for 5-10 years.
This episode will allow you to immerse yourself in the reality of the beginnings that everyone is going through and that I myself am going through.
So here is the program:
You'll have a perfect example of how to launch a project on the side while keeping an employee job and take the plunge once the model is validated.
Philipinne also explains her different experiences of entrepreneurial association and what it has taught her. As with a wedding, even if you don't want to, she has learned that you have to align yourself with what you do if the worst happens because the worst can always happen.
And also, she is very transparent about the questioning of the moment and the articulation of their project. Physical store or not, which project to prioritize, how to surround yourself, these are the subjects that concern them.
In short, a very nice episode for this summer that can relax you and even why not make you want to start your side (or main) business yourself.
So, take advantage of it! And he doesn't hesitate to cut up the episode, to listen to it while running, walking, cycling, on transport.
Hi and welcome to Donne le Rythme, the podcast about Belgian entrepreneurship.
I am Thimothée Remy, a professional coach, and I support those who want to start as a freelancer or move forward more serenely in their entrepreneurial project.
With this podcast, I create a space to get to the heart of the subjects. Through my episodes, you will discover the journeys, the successes but also the struggles of my guests. And above all, you will understand how they actually launched their business.
Over the course of the conversations, they really open up, without filter. In any case, that's still my goal!
Belgium is full of entrepreneurs, inspiring talents that I can't wait to introduce to you.
Thank you for listening and all you have to do is set the pace!
