"I create objects and design from shells", Simon, circular economy entrepreneur
I'm taking you to meet Simon Gillet, founder of Mineralio. He transforms the waste from a typical local dish (Belgian mussels!) into interior design and furnishings (worktops, flooring) and decorative objects. Initially an aerospace engineering student, he chose to move towards an environmentally friendly project after a course on the atmosphere and challenging documentaries.
On a daily basis, he is passionate about his project, which he makes as sustainable as possible at each stage. He told me that you have to be resilient, because nothing ever goes as planned. But if you believe in your idea and are willing to work hard, you can learn everything else!
Happy listening,
Jolan
