Digital technology: invisible, but fraught with consequences

Episode description
French

We often think that digital technology is "immaterial", and yet... it weighs as much as global air traffic.

In this new episode of " 6 minutes to understand ", Pierre Léonard dismantles our preconceived ideas about digital consumption with pedagogy. Behind every click, every smartphone, every data center, there are tons of CO₂, resources extracted, energy consumed. But it's not a guilt-inducing speech, on the contrary.

Concrete examples show how companies are acting, at their own level, to transform their use of digital technology into a lever for ecological transition. Reduction, extension, reconditioning, questioning of suppliers: so many gestures that, added up, become powerful.

An episode to become aware, but also to take action, without waiting for the next directive or the next budget.
