Job description
The Iris Sud Hospitals are looking for a 9-month fixed-term contract (maternity leave replacement)
- A motivated neuropsychologist, ready to commit;
- You will work part-time, with the possibility of organising half-days or full-days.
- You will provide neuropsychological assessment and management of adult patients with acquired neurological disorders (stroke, head injury, brain tumour, neurological diseases, anoxia, etc.).
As such, you will be required to:
- Carry out neuropsychological assessments adapted to the clinical demand, the medical context and the rehabilitation objectives.
- Develop diagnostic hypotheses and write clear and relevant neuropsychological reports.
- Implement individualized neuropsychological rehabilitation follow-ups, taking into account the patient's needs and objectives.
- Adapt care according to the clinical course and the progress observed.
- Participate in the information, psychoeducation and support of patients and, where appropriate, their loved ones.
- Collaborate closely with the various professionals in the department (doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, etc.).
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of the therapeutic project.
- Ensure a clear and relevant transmission of clinical information to the team.
- Participate in the development and continuous improvement of the department's practices.
To be eligible for this position, you must meet and agree to the following conditions:
- Master's degree in psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology.
- Experience in neuropsychological rehabilitation with an essential adult population .
- Mastery of neuropsychological assessment tools and ability to adapt the assessment to the clinical question.
- Experience in the implementation of individualized cognitive rehabilitation follow-ups.
- Good clinical analysis, organizational and autonomous skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong taste for working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluency in oral and written communication
- Have an active knowledge of the second national language
