Socio-cultural animator
Job description
As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for a socio-cultural animator.
YOUR TASKS
Design, animation and supervision of educational, cultural and social activities (workshops and educational games), adapted to different audiences. Animation of workshops and educational games, on site (at the prison) and on the move (classes, youth centres, etc.)
Management of requests for group visits and organization of these (in support of the coordinator)
Co-facilitation of visits-meetings as a guide
Project management : setting up activities, organising logistics and equipment, promoting and evaluating them
Proactive approach to schools, youth centres, youth assistance sector and other audiences, to promote the games and activities offered by the non-profit organisation
Profile
Training as a socio-cultural facilitator, short higher level, BAC – not required if you have 2 years of experience in the sector
Minimum 1 year's experience in socio-cultural animation, mediation or a similar field if you have a BAC type of training in socio-cultural animation
Autonomy, initiative and organizational skills
Adaptability
Very good oral and written communication, interpersonal skills and group management
Good knowledge of animation techniques
Knowledge of the prison environment is an asset
A good knowledge of Dutch is an asset
Have a B license (and a personal vehicle is an asset)
