Job description

Depending on your expertise, experience and interests, you will be deployed on a number of projects. The following elements are part of the duties of a researcher:

You follow up on the available knowledge and literature on a particular topic within the domains of road safety, mobility or social safety.
You will help determine suitable methodologies for new projects.
You collect, analyse and synthesize research data.
You write down the project results in structured notes and reports.
You will use these memorandums and reports as a basis for substantiating policy advice and recommendations.
You will present the research results in various forums, for example to clients or at conferences.

Profile

You have a master's degree in Social Sciences (psychology, sociology, law, political and social sciences, criminology or similar) and have an interest in topics such as road safety and mobility.
You have a critical mind and strong analytical skills. Knowledge of a programming language or statistical software is an asset.
You have at least a few years of experience in research.
To ensure efficient communication with our partners, our researchers have a good knowledge of French, Dutch and English.
