Frontend Web Developer (Internship)

Do you want to contribute to a lighter, more responsible and accessible web?
At mookaï, you will participate in the development of poko, our open source website builder to create more sustainable and ethical sites.
You will also get your hands dirty in the creation of complete websites, for associative and impact projects.

You will be guided, but with real responsibilities: coding, optimization, documentation...
Your work will really be useful.

📍 Internship in Brussels (Ixelles — near the ULB) + remote work possible

Our way of working:
At mookaï, we operate in a relationship of trust :

• You are proactive and proactive

• You know how to communicate regularly on the progress of your work

• You are able to take stock of your tasks, even remotely

• You have your own computer

• You are motivated and curious to learn

We sometimes work from home, so autonomy and communication are essential.

• You are proficient in HTML / CSS / JS

  • Your navigation menu is coded with something other than <divs>

  • You understand complex CSS selectors and are aware of the latest developments in the language

  • You understand the principle of "separation of concern"

• You can create a static, structured and complete site from scratch

• You are interested in static sites / Jamstack

• You want to learn, share, improve in accessibility and web eco-design

• Portfolio or code samples required:
  → GitHub, personal projects, templates, small handmade sites...

• You communicate easily in French

Bonus:

• You understand technical English and are able to write documentation in English

• Knowledge of Eleventy, Git, Nunjucks, UnoCSS (functional CSS)

• Notions UX/UI

• You understand the infrastructure of the web and the implications of technical choices
