We are looking for a Marketing Manager who will be able to:
Co-develop our long-term marketing strategy, with our CEO
Coordinate with our Content Manager and Communications Manager
Manage marketing projects with freelancers and external agencies
Actively participate in the implementation of the marketing and communication activities listed below
Our marketing strategy is currently mainly digital. We focus our efforts on creating value upstream of the business relationship, through:
Putting quality free content online with strong SEO
Expanding our visibility with meaningful content and partnerships
Developing targeted and profitable advertising campaigns
Developing community spaces for interaction and advice to potential future users, favouring strong word-of-mouth
We use tools such as Ahrefs, Customer.io and Typeform to properly collect and analyze data to optimize our marketing efforts, the Adobe suite and an in-house video studio for content creation, and Front to unify communication with our customers.
Your responsibilities will be both strategic and operational.
Working closely with founders and external agencies, position Mekanika as a strong brand while remaining consistent across all our channels and products.
Align our communication strategy with our brand and coordinate the team accordingly for the production of social media content, copy, newsletter or web articles.
Improve our inbound marketing structure, set goals and allocate resources to achieve them.
Develop the community aspects of our product ecosystem strategy, in collaboration with the product team.
Monitor and report on marketing KPIs.
Monitor competition (acquisitions, price changes, new products and features).
Over a 12-month horizon, help us develop a new geographic market.
2) Operational, with the help of the team in place
Act hands-on in activities related to inbound marketing channels (continuous improvement of SEO, optimization of advertising, growth of copy and email marketing).
Coordinate activities related to communication and content.

We are looking for someone who has the following skills:
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, with a track record
Strong interest in manufacturing, machinery, and willingness to acquire technical knowledge related to our business
Strong ability to prioritize, test, and measure
Excellent command of FR and EN (oral and written) - NL or DE are a plus
Experience using our existing tools is a plus (especially the Adobe suite)
Management experience is a plus
A full-time contract, based in Brussels (near Anderlecht train station, easily accessible by bike, public transport or car).
