Job description

You will join a team of 8 people based in Brussels, convinced of the importance of financing companies that provide solutions to climate and social issues.

Your main mission will be to develop the portfolio of companies financed by LITA. You will set up a commercial dynamic to find companies and have the ability to structure new investment offers. This requires a wide range of skills and a high level of energy.

You will be responsible for:

Participate in the origination of venture capital and private debt investment files by actively seeking out companies with a positive impact that wish to call on LITA to strengthen their financial structure
Support your team in :

Analysis of companies (start-ups, scale-ups, projects and mature companies), both financially and in terms of impact
Preparation of files to be submitted to the Investment Committee
Negotiationand structuring of investment offers (valuation negotiation, shareholders' agreement, bond structuring, etc.)

Monitor the holdings during the duration of the investment, both in terms of the financial aspect and the environmental and social impact
Increase LITA's profile in Belgium's social and economic ecosystem, with a particular focus on Flanders
Manage a team of junior analysts
This position requires a high degree of flexibility and multiple skills to effectively carry out these various responsibilities

Profile

Business school, engineering degree or university degree in economics and social sciences
At least 4-5 years of experience in a bank, financial institution or consulting firm.
Experience in financial analysis
Experience in the impact sector, particularly in the field of renewable energy, is an asset.
An analytical mind
A real motivation and interest in working on the development of impactful projects
Motivated communicator, both oral and written
Mother tongue NL, with a good knowledge of French and English
