Job description
Context
Les Petits Riens, a major player in the social and circular economy in Brussels, is looking for a Reuse Accompanist dedicated to the management project of the Recypark Demets reuse space, located in Anderlecht.
This position is part of a partnership with Bruxelles-Propreté and aims to support, train and accompany the staff present on site in order to optimise the collection, sorting and preparation for reuse of objects entrusted by citizens.
Main missions
Reception and awareness :
Welcoming and raising awareness of citizens about reuse spaces
Receipt of donations:
Sorting donations into different fractions and managing the workspace and storage space
Support for Bruxelles-Propreté staff :
Participation in a one-week immersive initial training at the Petits Riens sorting centre (toy workshops, small and large appliances, books, flea market, etc.)
Transmission of sorting procedures using our adapted educational materials (visual sheets, simplified guide)
Regular (weekly) feedback on the quality of sorting, with concrete examples (photos, accepted/rejected items)
Collection coordination:
Collaboration with the collection manager for pick-ups
Monitoring and reporting :
Collaboration with the workshop managers of the Les Petits Riens sorting centre to monitor flows, the difficulties encountered and the avenues for improvement
Contribution to the updating of training materials in operation thanks to regular field feedback
Profile
Desired profile
Any experience in the field of sorting, reuse or waste management is a plus
Teaching skills and ability to convey instructions in a clear and motivating manner
Team spirit, active listening and interpersonal skills to work in collaboration with the staff of Bruxelles-Propreté and the managers of the workshops of the sorting centre Les Petits Riens
Autonomy, rigor and sense of organization
Sensitivity to the values of the social and circular economy is essential
Sociable and customer-oriented
Be an ambassador of PR values
Do not have any health contraindications to working in an area of drafts, dust, carrying loads and standing for long periods of time
Mobility and flexibility. The B license is a plus

Conditions
One-year fixed-term contract for a part-time contract of 30 hours/week 📆
Desired start on 5 January (a training period is planned at the Petits Riens sorting centre in Anderlecht, before starting at the Recypark Demets)
Working days: 5 days a week, from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive
Timetables:
Tuesdays and Wednesdays : 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays : 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Salary defined according to the scales of Les Petits Riens
Meal vouchers of €8 per day of service
4.5 Extra-legal leave days
Group insurance
The reimbursement of 100% of public transport or a sectoral flat rate if you come by car (home-work) or €0.35/km if you come by bike/scooter
