About GR'EAT granola:

Founded in 2015, GR'EAT granola's mission is to inspire a healthier and more responsible lifestyle! Our company specialises in the production of healthy and tasty food, made in the most sustainable way possible. Our current range consists of organic and gluten-free granola. Prepared by hand in Brussels in small batches in our workshop, GR'EAT granola is made according to a secret family recipe. We have also recently launched nut & granola and porridge butters. We prepare more than '10,000 granola bowls' per day in Belgium and we continue to grow by developing new products daily. To support this development, we are looking for a Production and Quality Manager.

Your mission will be to supervise the entire food production process, including the management of machinery, production and packaging planning and labor in compliance with the company's quality standards.

👉 Your missions are divided into 3 poles: production, purchasing, quality.

PRODUCTION

  • Manage the production schedule and achieve production targets.

  • Management of the production team (3 operators + temporary workers)

  • Ensure the proper functioning of machines and equipment and ensure the maintenance of the production site. Track machine maintenance and cleaning.

  • Order preparation

  • Communication with customers (orders, deliveries, quality,...)

  • Encode and coordinate the transport of finished products to customers

  • Receive, control, store and encode raw materials and packaging materials.

  • Report and communicate any issues to the quality or maintenance team.

  • Ensuring production line efficiency

  • Maintain product consistency and quality.

  • Manage inventory and stock levels using warehouse management systems

  • Ensure the creation of new products in the Exact ERP (knowledge of any other ERP is an asset).

  • Identify ways to improve productivity.

SHOPPING

  • Ensure that raw materials or consumables are delivered in a timely manner to meet production and office requirements.

  • Maintain inventory levels and minimize losses.

  • Stay in constant contact with the finance manager to validate, organize payments and plan the budget.

QUALITY CONTROL

  • Handle complaints related to the quality of ingredients, products or packaging.

  • Receive, analyze, and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.

  • Develop, document and maintain the company's quality processes to ensure compliance with current standards (organic, gluten-free, artisanal, etc.).

  • Implement GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP within the production workshop.

  • Establish and maintain a management plan in the event of a product recall or recall.

  • Oversee the effectiveness of the workshop's cleaning and maintenance protocols.

  • Train employees in hygiene and food safety issues.

  • Identify, document, and analyze product or process non-conformities to propose corrective actions

Profile

  • You have a background in Science, Agri-Food Engineering or Supply Chain or experience in a production environment as a team leader, quality manager, or planner.

  • You are bilingual FR/NL (perfect for one of the languages and be able to get by in the other)

  • You have a sense of organization 📆

  • You have good stress management

  • You are motivated and want to acquire new professional skills.

  • You are multitasking, flexible, oriented, and above all proactive!

  • You have a B 🚗 license

  • Knowledge of Exact ERP is a plus

  • Knowledge of IFS and/or BIO certification is a plus
