Certifier (Sustainable Certifications)

To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a Certifier (m/f/x) (Sustainable certifications: ORGANIC, ...)

YOUR LOCATION

Within a team of 7 people and on the basis of a quality system (ISO 17065), you will be in charge of managing files related to the certification of companies selling organic products, mainly in Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels.

In concrete terms, you are responsible for:

• You make decisions about the continuity of organic certification: Based on a good knowledge of the regulations, you identify the severity of non-conformities, evaluate corrective actions, make decisions and record them in a database.

• You will write letters to French- and Dutch-speaking customers to explain certification decisions;

• You ensure that the flow of information is optimal to develop and maintain the expertise of the company and the department;

• You check the licence applications for the import of organic products into the EU (TRACES);

• You draw up proposals concerning derogations from the production rules;

• Together with the manager, you will participate in technical meetings with customers/partners.

• You have at least a Bachelor's degree with a scientific orientation ;

• You express yourself in both French and Dutch (oral and written);

• The regulations on organic farming are ideally not unknown to you and you have an affinity for the agricultural environment;

• You are an analytical, rigorous and critical person;

• You have a very good ability to work in a team and like to be an agent of change;

• You like to provide solutions to new problems;

• You are comfortable with legal texts and perceive the importance of organic certification.
