Expert | Victoria Guillomon (writer): Life is stronger than anything!
I am deeply convinced that, in life, we need role models, pathfinders, people who lead the way, who test other paths, who take side steps, and then come and tell us what they have experienced: "It's okay guys, the way is clear, come over here, I tested, it's joyful and wonderful."
Victoria is one of these ambassadors of Life. What struck me when I met her is that she really embodies her speech. Her aura emanates what she promotes: wonder, joy and confidence in life. When I saw her from afar, in the middle of the street in Brussels, I felt that she had a lot to bring to the world.
By the way, I have to make a confession: this episode has a special note for me, because I've been following Victoria's work and podcast for several years now, and meeting her was a bit like if little me, little Chloé, met for the first time her favorite singer — Lorie, of course — whose songs she knew by heart and with whom she just wanted to chat for hours.
Except that here, it is not "Sur un air Latino" that we have talked about, but three passions that we have in common: the Mystery of Life, the audacity to listen to one's little voice and the Art of asking the right questions. In short: the human being, in fact, both in all his complexity and also in his greatest beauty, in the end.
Throughout the episode I go through the passages of a book, her book, entitled " What do you think of Grandma's Life? ". In this book, she shares her thoughts with her grandmother; a real ode to life and to everything that goes through us when we are in our twenties in a changing world.
So this recording is for anyone who has questions, who wants to connect with someone our age who has taken the lead on their life and who comes to tell us how to go through ours. Listening to Victoria on the microphone has the same effect as a good fireside novel, where you recognize yourself in the main hero and when you close the book you say to yourself: "Yes, go, now I'm going, like him!"
Victoria also gives several tips and tricks to apply in her life in a practical way. Share with me, after you have listened, the one that has resonated most with you!
